Allen Lazard Has Unspectacular Game Against Kansas City
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard had an unspectacular outing in the victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Lazard finished the game with five receptions for 42 yards, which has been his average involvement in games in the absence of Davante Adams. Lazard has been given slightly more usage than Jake Kumerow, behind the Packers starting receiving duo of Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison. Coming into Week 9 his outlook is uncertain, regardless of Adams' availability. The Los Angeles Chargers have been an effective unit against receiving corps, but have been susceptible to running backs. Given that weakness, the Packers are likely to return to the effective ground game it started the season with.
