Allen Lazard Catches Touchdown In Week 3
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard caught four of his six targets, gaining 45 yards and scoring a touchdown during the team's 14-12 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 27-year-old was limited in practice this week again due to the ankle injury he suffered before the regular season opener, but he came through for fantasy managers by catching his second touchdown of the season. Still potentially playing at less than 100%, Lazard was second in total targets to rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs on Sunday. The fifth-year receiver should continue to see a high target share moving forward, with Sammy Watkins being placed on IR this past weekend, and he has a slew of favorable matchups coming up over the next month. Lazard will face a New England defense next week that just surrendered four passing touchdowns to the Lamar Jackson-led Ravens.
