2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard will face the New York Jets in Green Bay this Sunday. The 26-year-old has averaged seven targets over the past three weeks, scoring twice and going over 100 yards once. Lazard is the clear top target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers when attempting to move the chains or find the end zone, making him a relatively safe FLEX option regardless of matchup. The fifth-year receiver has a decent matchup this week against a Jets defense that allows the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position and is tied for the sixth-most touchdowns given up. There is a chance Lazard faces rookie Sauce Gardner, who has been one of the better cornerbacks in the league through five weeks, but he is still a safe fantasy option in Week 6.
