Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Allen Hurns had a typical 2018 Allen Hurns game on Thanksgiving, catching just one pass for a seven yard gain. Hurns is barely a part of the offense at this point, as the Cowboys focus on getting the ball to Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper. Miami Dolphins wide receiver Allen Hurns could be released this offseason. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, $2.5 million salary next season is guaranteed, and he's a toss-up at best to make the 53-man roster. If he's cut, the 30-year-old's cap hit drops from $3 million to $433,000. Hurns suffered a wrist injury that required surgery in August and missed the entire 2021 campaign. The veteran hasn't appeared in a game since 2019 after opting out of the 2020 season. Hurns could end up being a cap casualty and find himself searching for a new team this offseason.
