5 years agoDetroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson has shown off his excellent football I.Q., play making ability, and athleticism throughout the Lions camp. The first round pick in this year's draft has already been compared to Rob Gronkowski. There is no doubt that Hockenson will need to develop quite a bit more to get to that level, but having similarities this early is an excellent sign for Hockenson. Although there is no doubt that Hockenson can develop into a great tight end, his fantasy value for this year is somewhat unknown. He is going late in most drafts so there is not all that much risk having him as a TE2 throughout the season. Hockenson is listed as TE1 on the Lions depth chart, with little competition; if Stafford and Hockenson find a connection early, Hockenson could far out produce his expectations. Hockenson should be targeted in dynasty leagues.--Corey Johnson
