Alfred Morris Not Usable In Fantasy
6 years agoAfter playing one snap and registering zero touches in Week 6, San Francisco 49ers running back Alfred Morris is fading towards fantasy irrelevance. In his absence, running backs Matt Breida (ankle, shoulder) and Raheem Mostert jumpstarted the Niners rushing attack to 174 yards. Morris is averaging a meager 3.7 YPC and while head coach Kyle Shanahan insists the Niners committee running approach will be dynamic, Mostert has apparently usurped the seven-year veteran. With the 49ers facing the potent Los Angeles Rams in Week 7, the team will likely rely on its passing attack, further diminishing Morris’ outlook. Mostert is the primary handcuff to Breida, rendering Morris droppable in standard-sized leagues.
