The New York Giants elevated running back Alfred Morris, defensive back Montre Hartage and offensive guard Chad Slade to the active roster from the practice squad ahead of their Monday night meeting with the Buccaneers. The veteran Morris will provide some extra depth behind Wayne Gallman and Dion Lewis with Devonta Freeman (ankle) ruled out after he suffered an ankle injury in the Week 7 loss to the Eagles. Gallman and Lewis are expected to split the workload on Monday night against a very stingy Tampa defensive line. Gallman will be the preferred RB3/flex in deeper leagues after he saw the majority of the work when Freeman was injured last week.
