6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Alfred Morris carried the ball 12 times for 38 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings, while also losing a fumble near the goal line. The 29-year-old struggled to find running room against a stout Vikings defense. However, he should have more success in the team's home opener against the Detroit Lions next week. Keep in mind that Morris’ upside is limited with Matt Breida sharing the workload, and because of his lack of receiving ability in PPR formats. This makes Morris a risky week-to-week start that is often dependent on touchdowns.--Mike Dente
