6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Alfred Morris is not expected to play much in the team’s final preseason matchup, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. This is a good indication that Morris is expected to make the roster after signing with the team just two weeks ago. The 29-year-old’s role is still to be determined, but the general consensus is that he will work behind Jerick McKinnon and Matt Breida. He is currently going undrafted in most leagues, but could carve out a role if McKinnon or Breida struggle to remain healthy.--Mike Dente
