Alexis Lafreniere Pots Game-Winner Against Capitals
11 months agoNew York Rangers winger Alexis Lafreniere ended a brief scoring drought with the game-winning goal in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Washington. After going two games without a point, the young forward potted his 11th goal of the season late in the first period. It's his first goal in nine games. Lafreniere hasn't had much luck in front of the net lately, but he's done well on the Rangers' second line this season. With 42 games played, Lafreniere has notched 26 points with 112 shots on goal. He's among the team leaders with 22 even-strength points.
