2 years agoCincinnati Reds closer Alexis Diaz picked up his seventh save of the season in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Mets. Diaz entered the game in the top of the eighth inning up by one with two outs and runners on first and second. He allowed a walk to load the bases but ended the half-inning with a strikeout. He then locked things down in the ninth with a 1-2-3 inning and two more strikeouts. The 26-year-old has provided solid fantasy value despite playing on a weaker team and has now converted all of his save opportunities with a 2.19 ERA and a 17.51 K/9 rate. His massive strikeout upside makes Diaz a worthy fantasy option in all leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
