2 years agoNew York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov (upper body) could return to the lineup for Friday's Game 3 against Carolina. He took part in the morning skate and said he is "ready to go". The Russian blue-liner has yet to feature in the playoffs, missing the last seven games in total. Romanov registered a career-high 22 points in 76 regular-season outings, adding 198 hits and 129 blocks to his tally. Islanders head coach Lane Lambert said Friday morning that if Romanov can't play, Parker Wotherspoon will be entered into the lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
