Alexander Mattison - Week 14 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison proved once again in Week 13 that he is the most reliable backup running back in fantasy football. Filling in for an injured Dalvin Cook, Mattison put up 124 total yards and a rushing touchdown in the loss to the Detroit Lions. With a short week and the Pittsburgh Steelers on the schedule for Thursday night football, Mattison will likely be called on to replace Cook once more. He will face a Steeler defense that gives up the 11th most fantasy points to opposing running backs on the season, setting up Mattison for another big performance. Mattison is averaging 23.6 PPR points per game as the starting running back this year and fantasy managers can expect another RB1 performance Thursday night.
