2 years agoColorado Avalanche goalie Alexandar Georgiev will start in Game 2 of the first-round Western Conference series against the Seattle Kraken Thursday. Despite stopping 27 out of 30 shots in Game 1 on Tuesday, the 27-year-old suffered a brutal loss as his team was defeated 3-1 by the Kraken. However, his impressive performance throughout the season cannot be denied, with a 40-16-6 record that ranks second all-time in single-season franchise wins, a .919 save percentage, and a 2.53 goals-against-average.
