Alexandar Georgiev Faces Boston On Friday
4 years agoNew York Rangers goaltender Alexandar Georgiev will guard the cage in Friday's matchup with Boston. He's going for a second consecutive win, after beating Philadelphia with a 20-save effort in a 3-2 shootout victory on Feb. 19. Georgiev is 2-2-2 for the year with a 2.95 goals-against average, a .893, and one shutout. He's in a difficult spot to improve his record, as the Rangers remain without Artemi Panarin (personal) and should face an angry team after Boston took a big 7-2 loss against the Islanders on Thursday. The Blueshirts have suffered six straight losses in the match.
