Alex Young Roughed Up in Start Against Brewers
5 years agoAfter allowing just two runs over his first 18 2/3 career innings, Arizona Diamondbacks starter Alex Young allowed a career-high four runs over four innings against Milwaukee. His shortest start of the year, Young still managed to match his career-high with five strikeouts while avoiding the loss. Despite this speed bump, Young is still one of the better rookie starting pitchers in the league right now. His next start will likely come against the Marlins, who currently own the fourth-worst team average in the majors (.240) and the worst scoring average (3.6 runs per game). Expect a big performance from Young in his next time out.
