6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Alex Wood will re-introduce his windup next year, according to general manager Andrew Friedman. Wood pitched solely out of the stretch in 2018 and saw his velocity and ERA (3.68) suffer as a result. The left-hander was still solid for fantasy owners, though, with nine wins, a 1.21 WHIP and 8.0 K/9 across 33 outings (27 starts). Don't expect Wood to be as good as he was in 2017 (16 wins, 2.72 ERA), but hopefully his return to a windup will make him more effective than he was last season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
