5 years agoCincinnati Reds starter Alex Wood continues to make slow progress recovering from a back injury that has kept him out of the entire 2019 season. The left-hander is slated to toss a bullpen session Tuesday and will make his first rehab start Thursday for the Triple-A Louisville squad. Wood has struggled with his health his whole career but has shown dominance when he has stayed healthy. He's a risky bet to remain in good health and now with Great American Ballpark his home field; it doesn't bode well for his fantasy outlook. Wood won't return to the Reds for another month or so and isn't worthy of a roster stash.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
