Alex Wood Gets Rocked By Rockies Sunday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Alex Wood did not last long in his start Sunday, pitching just two innings against the Rockies. Wood surrendered six runs on five hits and three walks with two strikeouts. The lefty has not had the success he experienced in 2017 but has not been awful, posting a 1-4 record with a 4.48 ERA, 60 strikeouts and 13 walks in 64 1/3 innings pitched. Fantasy owners should be wary of Wood's matchups before inserting him in their lineups. He is slated to start next on Saturday against a tough Braves matchup who have crushed left-handed pitching this season.
