Alex Verdugo Hits First Home Run Of Season Friday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Alex Verdugo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-1 win against the Braves. The 22-year-old crushed a third-inning Mike Foltynewicz fastball to straightaway center field for his first HR of the season and the second in his Major League career. The rookie has posted a promising .280/.345/.440 slash line through 14 games this season and should continue to see playing time as long as the Dodgers continue to have injuries throughout their roster.
