Buffalo Sabres right wing Alex Tuch (undisclosed) will play on Wednesday against the L.A. Kings. Tuch missed Monday's practice as he appears to be dealing with a minor ailment. However, the injury will not force him to sit out Wednesday's game. Tuch has appeared in all 18 games this season, moving nearly with a point-per-game pace. He has totaled five goals and a team-high 12 assists. Tuch skates on the top line with Ryan McLeod and JJ Peterka and works with the first power-play unit. The Kings have been among his favorite opponents throughout his career, as the former Vegas Golden Knight has recorded 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) against them.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Buffalo Sabres right wing Alex Tuch (undisclosed) sustained an injury during their 8-2 win over the New York Rangers on Saturday evening. Head coach Lindy Ruff noted after the game that he was "not too concerned" with his status. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his ability during the week leading up to their next contest on Tuesday evening against the Anaheim Ducks. During Saturday's game, Tuch logged just over 13 minutes of ice time and did not get on the scoresheet. He logged three shots on goal and added two blocked shots. Prior to Saturday, Tuch tallied nine points (four goals, five helpers) over his previous six games. If Tuch were to sit out during Tuesday's game, Sam Lafferty would draw into the starting lineup.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Buffalo Sabres right wing Alex Tuch tallied three points during their 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday evening. In the opening frame, Tuch tallied the secondary assist on Bowen Byram's sixth goal of the season. Then, in the second frame, Tuch found the back of the net twice. Both of these goals were during 5-on-5 play. Tuch also added five shots on goal, three blocks, one hit, and a +1 rating in this contest. This outing extended his point streak to three games. Over his previous 13 contests, the 28-year-old tallied 12 points (six goals, six assists) while averaging 2.76 shots on goal per game with 13 hits and 15 blocked shots. He will look to stay hot on Saturday evening against the Nashville Predators.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Buffalo Sabres right wing Alex Tuch scored twice during their overtime victory against the Washington Capitals. Tuch opened the scoring in the first period with a deflection goal, on an assist from JJ Peterka. Later in the second, Tuch would find the back of the net again, this time on an unassisted goal. The 28-year-old also logged two blocks and one hit in this contest. This outing snapped a four-game scoreless drought. Since the start of December (17 games) Tuch has had trouble remaining consistent in the scoring department as he has tallied just seven points (five goals, two helpers) over this stretch. However, he tallied 13 points in 14 games in November. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his production as he could be on the verge of another hot stretch.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Buffalo Sabres right wing Alex Tuch scored a hat trick in their victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday evening. Tuch scored his first goal of the evening on a tip-in in the first period. Tuch would then score his other two goals in the final frame. He first scored on a wrist shot in the opening minutes of the third period, and then capped off his evening with a snap shot goal. This performance snapped a four-game scoring drought. Leading up to this game, Tuch only scored one goal earlier this month across an 11-game stretch. Overall, the 28-year-old has tallied 28 points (12 goals, 16 assists) across 28 total games this season. Tuch should continue to produce near point-per-game production playing alongside Tage Thompson and Jason Zucker on the top line.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
