Alex Smith Puts Up 300 Yards In Loss
6 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith completed 30 of 46 passes for 306 yards, one touchdown and an interception in Sunday's defeat at the hands of the Falcons. The Redskins fell behind big early on, and as we've seen a few times this season, they had to take to the air to keep up. Sunday marks the first time all season that Smith has broken the 300-yard plateau, so you were rewarded somewhat if you started him in this favorable matchup. The failure to record multiple touchdowns hindered his overall fantasy production, but Smith got the job done as a bye-week fill-in. He'll face another exploitable defense in Week 10, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
