Alex Smith Could Shine In Week 10
6 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith has thrown one touchdown each in his last three games, and has not thrown more than two in any game this season. A Week 10 contest with the bottom-dwelling Buccaneers pass defense could mean a reprieve from Smith's struggles to find the end zone. Tampa Bay has allowed multiple touchdown passes in every game but one this season, and is allowing the most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks of any team in the league. The Buccaneers have also forced one solitary interception on the season, which doesn't bode well for them against a quarterback who rarely turns the ball over. If you're looking for a Kirk Cousins or Deshaun Watson bye-week replacement, Smith is one of your top options.
