3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Alex Reyes took the loss on Sunday, allowing a run in a tie game. He dropped his record to 3-2 and saw his ERA go up to 0.90. He ended up pitching a full inning, allowing a solo home run, a walk, and recording two strikeouts. Reyes has mostly been excellent, as can be seen by his ERA, but underlying stats show plenty of cause for concern. He remains a sell-high candidate, but he keeps on defying FIP and xFIP all season.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
