Alex Pietrangelo Practices In Non-Contact Jersey Monday
1 year agoVegas Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo (face) practiced in a red, non-contact jersey Monday as he looks to work towards a return to the lineup. The veteran blue-liner suffered a cut to the face on Oct. 13 when he was hit with a slap shot and has not appeared in a contest since. The 33-year-old tied a career-high with 54 points last season while also adding 170 shots, 65 hits, and a hefty 177 blocked shots, the latter of which was a career-high. While he is very much fantasy-relevant, Pietrangelo's value takes a hit with teammate Shea Theodore thriving in first-unit power-play duties. Even if he doesn't see PP1 time, Pietrangelo is still a valued fantasy asset, especially in leagues that count blocks.
