Alex Lyon Pulled In Loss To Penguins
7 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers goaltender Alex Lyon was pulled after allowing three goals on 11 shots Sunday afternoon against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 25-year-old's rookie season has been underwhelming, as his numbers drop to 2.75 goals against average and a .905 save percentage. While Petr Mrazek allowed the eventual game winner and took the official loss, Lyon missed his chance to steal the starter's job from Mrazek while Brian Elliott and Michal Neuvirth are injured.
