Alex Lange Converts His Second Save Monday
2 years agoDetroit Tigers right-hander Alex Lange got the final inning of Monday's 4-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. He didn't allow a baserunner while striking out two en route to his second save of the campaign. Lange was the supposed closer coming into the season after turning in a 3.41 ERA in 2022, and so far this season, he's been much of the same. The 27-year-old owns a 1.64 ERA with 11 strikeouts and five walks across 11 innings of work. Lange is clearly the best arm in the Tigers pen and will keep getting the majority of save situations.
