Alex Lange Blows Save Sunday
1 year agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Alex Lange struggled again on Sunday, blowing a save in what would eventually be a 4-3 defeat at the hands of the Toronto Blue Jays. Lange allowed a two-out, two-run homer to Danny Jansen, which saw the Tigers' 3-1 lead evaporate. Although the righty secured a save Saturday, he has been awfully shaky for the last month and a half. Since the start of June, Lange has an 8.76 ERA, 1.86 WHIP, and a 15:12 K:BB ratio. It'll be interesting to see if they turn to Jason Foley soon if the issues persist. In deeper leagues, Foley is worth a stash.
