Alex Kirilloff Scores Three Runs In Monday's Win
4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff collected a pair of hits and scored three runs in Monday's win over the Rangers. After going hitless in his first 11 at-bats, Kirilloff has now recorded a hit in each of the last seven games and has 11 RBI in that span. The plate discipline- 13 strikeouts with only one walk- leaves a bit to be desired, but the 23-year-old seems destined to stay in the big leagues with his ability to hit for both power and average, as well as his versatility in the field. It will be interesting to see what the Twins decide to do when Miguel Sano (hamstring) returns.
