Alex Kirilloff Records Second Straight Multi-Hit Game
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's loss to the Kansas City Royals. Both of Kirilloff's hits registered exit velocities below 90 MPH, though he got the job done, driving in a run on one of his hits in the first inning. The 23-year-old has collected a hit in each of his last five games, and is batting .350 with a home run, two doubles, and four RBI during that stretch. Kirilloff is lined up to face Royals lefty Danny Duffy on Saturday. Duffy owns a 2.44 ERA but an expected mark of 4.09 thanks in large part to a career-worst 39.7 percent hard-hit rate. If Rocco Baldelli turns to Kirilloff Saturday, DFS investors need not fear the lefty-on-lefty matchup.
