Alex Kirilloff Expected To Return On Tuesday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman/outfielder Alex Kirilloff (knee) is expected to return to action in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game, according to Twins manager Rocco Baldelli. The 24-year-old was removed from this past Saturday's game due to mild left knee soreness. The removal was said to be precautionary. All signs point toward Kirilloff being on the field for Opening Day. In his first taste of the majors last year, the left-hander slashed .251/.299/.423 with eight home runs, 34 RBI and 23 runs over 59 games. He's currently ranked No. 165 overall in the RotoBaller rankings. One of the Twins' top overall prospects going into last year, Kirilloff a solid sleeper target if you're in need of outfield or corner infield depth in the double-digit rounds.
