Arizona Coyotes defenseman Alex Goligoski recorded two goals in Thursday's 6-5 loss to Carolina, although he put the puck into the net himself only once. Arizona got on the board with a bizarre goal 8:27 into the game, when the puck went deep into the Canes zone from a Goligoski dump in, Cam Ward came out of his net to play it and the puck somehow got stuck into his right skate, which he didn't realize, as he took it with him over the goal line when returning to the crease. It was Goligoski's first goal of the month after recording four in February and he later added a power-play strike at the end of the second period. The Coyotes are doing really well right now, but the improved play hasn't affected Goligoski's production, as he had no points this month before picking up an assist in Wednesday's win over Buffalo.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
