Arizona Coyotes forward Alex Galchenyuk had a great game on Sunday against San Jose, scoring twice in a 4-3 shootout win. He also provided the decisive goal in the shootout. Tim Heed gave San Jose the lead on a power play 15:11 into the first period, but Galchenyuk answered to it only 20 seconds later and he notched a power-play goal himself in the second frame. Galchenyuk has been in and out of the lineup with health issues this season, so it's difficult to judge his form. When trading for him, the franchise certainly expected more than 14 points in 26 games. If healthy, Galchenyuk could have a big second half of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Arizona Coyotes center Alex Galchenyuk draws back into the lineup on Friday night thanks to an injury to Johan Larsson. Galchenyuk will be in the bottom-six once more. The center had two or more shots on goal in four consecutive appearances. Then, against the Winnipeg Jets, he seemed to lose focus again with no shots in 10:07. He looked as if the forward was just going through the motions. Galchenyuk then became a healthy scratch for the Minnesota game. He has just 15 shots through nine games and needs to make an impression soon for Arizona. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Arizona Coyotes forward Alex Galchenyuk will be back on the ice in Friday's matchup against Vegas, replacing Johan Larsson (lower body) in the lineup. The enigmatic forward sat out Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Minnesota as a healthy scratch. Galchenyuk hasn't done much for the team this season, logging two assists with 15 shots in nine appearances. He entered the lineup as a top-six forward last month but has now been skating on the fourth line in his most recent outings. The 27-year-old will likely be back there again, with Larsson having been the fourth-line center.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Arizona Coyotes forward Alex Galchenyuk (upper body) will log his first minutes of the season on Friday against Chicago. He was injured in training camp and hasn't been able to help his team yet, and the Coyotes sure need all the help they can get. Galchenyuk has been a disappointment ever since leaving Montreal in 2018 and his fantasy value has been non-existent in recent seasons, but the 27-year-old is a former 30-goal scorer and you can't score 30 goals in a season if don't have any ability. Maybe Galchenyuk can rediscover some of his old form on a team that's desperate for some scoring ability, having managed just 21 goals in 13 games. Defenseman Kyle Capobianco will also get his season debut on Friday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
