6 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Alex Erickson will get some extra snaps in Week 5 against the Dolphins. Though he only caught one pass for eight yards against the Falcons, he will get more involved with the team missing tight end Tyler Eifert (ankle), Giovani Bernard (knee), and wide receiver John Ross (groin). In addition, Erickson also serves as the backup should running backs Joe Mixon, who will likely be eased back in after missing a few weeks, and Mark Walton go down during the game. It is a long-shot for him to have a breakout performance, but the potential is there for some catches and even a trip to the end zone.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
