Detroit Red Wings left wing Alex DeBrincat tallied two goals, including the game-winner, to power the Red Wings over the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday evening. DeBrincat would score his first in the opening frame on a wrist shot which beat Vancouver netminder Kevin Lankinen. Then, in overtime, DeBrincat would strike again to extend Detroit's winning streak to six games. DeBrincat has found the back of the net four times during this winning streak and added one helper. He has averaged 3.33 shots on goal with a +4 rating. Overall, DeBrincat has scored 23 goals with 19 assists. He is on pace to surpass his last season's goal total of 27. Fantasy managers should continue to expect DeBrincat to play in the Detroit top six and have a role on the top power-play. The Wings will look for this seventh-straight win on Tuesday evening against the Seattle Kraken.

Detroit Red Wings winger Alex DeBrincat potted a pair of power-play goals in Monday's 4-3 home loss to the Ducks. Both of his strikes came in the third frame when Detroit finally made the game close after dropping into a 4-0 hole early on. Playing on his 26th birthday, DeBrincat reached 15 goals and 28 points for the campaign. He's done well in Motown, leading the team in points, but nine of his goals came in the first seven games of the season, and the Red Wings have had a bumpy ride without DeBrincat's contributions in front of the net.
