Alex DeBrincat Scores Again In Wednesday's Win
4 years agoChicago Blackhawks forward Alex DeBrincat registered his ninth goal of the season as his team blanked the Detroit Red Wings 2-0 on Wednesday. The 23-year-old's third-period tally was his seventh goal over his past six contests and he also registered a team-high six shots on goal in 23:30 of ice time. DeBrincat has burst out of the gates with 17 points, a plus-five rating and 50 shots through his first 14 games in 2020-2021 - proving that his 45-point season last year might just be an outlier in his career. He should be valued as a legitimate top-50 asset in fantasy hockey and needs to be a lock in starting lineups.

Alex DeBrincat Tallies Three Points On Thursday
2 months agoDetroit Red Wings left wing Alex DeBrincat tallied a goal and an assist in their victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday evening. DeBrincat tallied his first assist on Patrick Kane's snap shot in the opening frame. Later in the period, DeBrincat would score on the power-play. Then, in the final period, DeBrincat would tally his second point on the power-play, this time on a primary assist on Dylan Larkin's goal. The 27-year-old is now riding a three-game point streak. He has tallied six points during this span, including three goals and three power-play points. Before this hot stretch, he tallied only two points over his previous seven contests. Fantasy managers should expect his scoring to continue to heat up, playing top minutes in the Detroit offense.

Alex DeBrincat Scores Two Power-Play Goals
1 year agoDetroit Red Wings winger Alex DeBrincat potted a pair of power-play goals in Monday's 4-3 home loss to the Ducks. Both of his strikes came in the third frame when Detroit finally made the game close after dropping into a 4-0 hole early on. Playing on his 26th birthday, DeBrincat reached 15 goals and 28 points for the campaign. He's done well in Motown, leading the team in points, but nine of his goals came in the first seven games of the season, and the Red Wings have had a bumpy ride without DeBrincat's contributions in front of the net.
