Alex Colome Gets Victory After First Blown Save
4 years agoChicago White Sox closer Alex Colome blew his first save of the season Friday, but picked up a victory on Friday against the Kansas City Royals. Colome was called on to get the final four outs, but allowed an unearned run to tie the game. He was bailed out by a Yasmani Grandal walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth. Colome has been lights out for the most part this season and now owns a 0.79 ERA with six saves and 10 strikeouts over 11 1/3 innings. He should be owned in all formats.
