Alex Collins Struggles In Week 7
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins was unable to replicate his play from a week ago, and he struggled all game long in the Week 7 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. Collins finished the game with 16 carries for 35 yards while catching one pass for nine yards on one target. The running game was a slog all night for both teams, and the Seahawks two primary running backs, Collins and Rashaad Penny, had a combined 22 carries for 44 yards. As long as Chris Carson (neck) is out with an injury, Collins will likely be the primary running back, but it appears that Penny may have a claim to some of the other touches now that he's back from Injured Reserve.
