Alex Collins Reaches End Zone Twice
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins had a very productive day in Week 6, rushing for 54 yards on a season-high 19 attempts with two scores. Collins has now topped the 50-yard plateau in consecutive games and three of his last four while garnering double-digit carries for the fourth straight contest. The third-year back, who still does not have a run over 20 yards, had rushes of five or more yards, with his second-quarter touchdown scamper of 13 yards being his longest of the day. He now has five touchdowns on the season -- four rushing and one receiving. While Collins has not had a breakout game this season and is not a real threat in the passing game, he should be in the mix as an RB2/RB3 for the remainder of the season if he remains relevant in goal-line situations.
