Alex Collins Once Again Fails To Top 60 Rushing Yards
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins got off to a great start against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, but he fizzled a little in the second half. Collins totaled 42 yards on six carries through the opening 30 minutes of action Sunday, however, he only registered 17 yards on his subsequent six attempts. The good news is that for the third straight week, the 24-year-old has cracked the 10-carry mark and he did produce a season-best 4.9 yards per attempt against the Browns. On the downside, he failed to reach the end zone on the ground for a third straight game and was only able to haul in one of four targets for seven yards. The third-year back, who has topped the 60-yard plateau just once this season compared to eight times last year, was on the field for a season-low 31 percent of the team's offensive snaps. Until proven otherwise, it is best for fantasy owners to park Collins.
