Alex Bregman Goes Deep In Saturday's Win
2 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman played a key role in Saturday's World Series Game 2 against the Philadelphia Phillies, going 1-for-4, but that lone hit was a two-run shot off of Zack Wheeler that helped his club win 5-2. Over nine games this postseason, the 28-year-old is batting .316 with three home runs and nine RBI. Bregman was solid in the regular season as well, slashing .259/.366/.454 while smashing 23 homers, driving in 93 and scoring 93 runs. He'll continue providing offensive firepower in the middle of a great Astros lineup for the rest of the series.
