Alex Bregman Collects Two Singles In Astros Loss
1 year agoDuring Sunday night's game against the Yankees, third baseman Alex Bregman went 2-for-3 at the plate and scored the Astros' only run. Bregman got on base early with a base hit against righty Michael King in the first frame. He then crossed the plate for the game's first run, thanks to a sacrifice fly from left-handed batter Kyle Tucker. Both of Bregman's hits during the contest were singles. So far this season, the 29-year-old infielder is batting .267/.365/.446. He has also contributed 22 home runs, 90 RBI, and three swiped bags.
