Alex Bregman Blasts Go-Ahead Homer
1 year agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman came up clutch for the team during Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Angels. The Astros entered the eighth inning trailing 7-3 versus All-Star closer Carlos Estevez. They were able to rally and make it 7-5 before Jaime Barria came in for the ninth inning. Houston scored a run off him before Bregman blasted a go-ahead two-run home run to give the Astros the lead. He finished 4-for-5 on the night, which is nice to see given his disappointing season thus far. He's slashing 246/.341/.398 with 13 long balls and 58 RBI.
