Alex Bregman Back From Paternity Leave
40 seconds agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Alex Bregman has been activated from the paternity list prior to Friday's game against the Chicago White Sox. In a corresponding move, the Red Sox have designated right-handed pitcher Michael Fulmer. Bregman is slated to cover the hot corner and bat third on Friday evening. The 31-year-old was held out of the starting nine for just one contest. Over his last six games, Bregman has enjoyed an impressive offensive surge, as he has posted a .391/.462/.739 line with two doubles and two long balls. Under the hood, he has generated a solid .343 xwOBA while posting an elite 13.6 percent whiff rate. Bregman is worth a look in DFS facing Chicago southpaw Martin Perez as he looks to stay hot at the plate.
