4 years agoAlex Bowman took advantage of the final restart on Sunday to surge past Denny Hamlin. Once in the lead, Bowman never looked back, led the final ten laps, and took home the checkered flag. The Toyota Owners 400 was the Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver's first-ever win on a short track. It was just the third win of his young career. Bowman beat Denny Hamlin by 0.381 seconds. The irony was the No. 48 ran poorly on short runs all day but found a seam to go from third to first. Bowman is the eighth different winner in nine races.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
