1 year agoAlex Bowman has not had the best luck at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Honestly, his average start was 26th going into Saturday. Naturally, he quailed ninth on Saturday afternoon and was 0.638 seconds off the pole time set by Daniel Suarez. Bowman and his Hendrick Motorsports Racing Chevy come in with the fourth best average finish (13.1) on road courses. Bowman is another driver who likely needs a win to make the playoff. He stands 44 points behind Ty Gibbs for 16th in the points. Bowman has been near the top in several road races lately only to be befallen by spins, bumps, and crashes. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
