2 years agoAlex Bowman and his Hendrick Motorsports car will start in 18th on Sunday at Phoenix. He will be right next to Josh Berry. Bowman and his No. 48 Chevy could not go fast enough to get into the final round of qualifying on Saturday. Normally, Bowman is just OK on these type of shorter tracks. The short-track downforce package does not seem to suit the Hendrick driver that well. Since that one dominant ride in 2016 where he led 194 laps, Bowman has finished 13th or worse every other time.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
