Alex Bowman Looking To Rebound After 2023 Season Derailed
10 months agoLast year for Alex Bowman, the 2023 season started off great, as the Hendrick Motorsports driver started off the season with six top-10 finishes over the first seven races, three of which were also top-five results. That success tapered off majorly, though, as Bowman suffered a fractured vertebra and was forced to miss four races. He ended the 2023 season with just ten total top-10 finishes, a major disappointment after starting out the season so hot. Bowman said his team got their "teeth kicked in" during the second half of the season. The No. 48 crew will be looking to rebound in a major way in 2024 now, and if the start of last season was any indication, they are more than capable of returning to a high level of competitiveness. As far as his contract situation at Hendrick Motorsports, Bowman is signed through the 2026 season, so there should be no concern there about being on the hot seat.
