Alex Bowman Looking For Solid Run At Homestead
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman will roll off from the eighth starting spot in Sunday's Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Despite some poor finishes, Bowman and the No. 88 team have been fast all year. Bowman led chunks of both Charlotte races and cruised to victory at California. In three starts at Homestead, driving for HMS, Bowman has struggled with an average finish of 18th. However, Bowman collected his best finish at Homestead, ninth, in last year's finale. In 2020, Bowman has thrived at running the top groove, near the wall. Drivers who tend to do that, usually perform well at Homestead. Bowman's price in DFS is right around average, and he could be worth a shot in lineups if skill translates over. He doesn't have the best track record, and there are some better options out there, but Bowman is a solid pick.
