Aleksander Barkov Picks Up Points Again On Tuesday
6 years agoFlorida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov registered a power-play goal and added an assist in his team's 5-2 defeat of the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday. The Finnish native has been red-hot throughout the month of December, having recorded 12 points (six goals, six assists) in eight games. After getting off to a bit of a slow start offensively, the premiere two-way center has now eclipsed the point-per-game mark this season with 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) in 32 games. Cemented as the Panthers' franchise forward, Barkov can be considered a top-40 (at the very least) fantasy asset and should be active in fantasy lineups each night he suits up. His next appearance will come on Thursday against the Maple Leafs.
